Is there some special secret to wrapping gifts? I've tried to wrap this box like eight times and it looks like I rolled it in shiny bits of paper and spellotape. It's a box, it can't be that hard, right? There should be some self-wrapping charmed paper, I don't have time for this wrapping nonsense.

Rabbit rabbit, so it seems.
I have a new neighbor. He seems to have a girlfriend that he rows with. A lot. Only I think its over his mobile or something, because I can hear him yelling just fine and then sometimes I can hear her, but not really. I particularly don't like having to listen about his relationship problems especially since I seem to be going through a not so lovely dry spell myself without knowing the full story.
[Hexed private to Czeslaw] Unbored me, mate. Tell me something interesting. [/hex]

What we anticipate seldom occurs; what we least expected generally happens. --- Benjamin Disraeli
( Warded Private )
It is not proper to send hexes and jinxes through the post, disguised as an advert for free concert tickets. The fake fireworks scared Bucket half out the window and I'm pretty sure my landlady will wish to have words tomorrow.

The Wizengamot is buzzing with discussion. I have a feeling there are going to be very interesting things happening soon. I'm very excited an honoured to be involved in all of this. I bloody well deserve it no matter what Dad says. The days are getting longer though, Minister Fudge is quite the politician. I'm learning quite a lot from him. I'm not sure I actually want to be minister though, he gets a lot of shite from people all the time, even when he doesn't deserve it I can't say I'm disappointed that I'm not returning to Hogwarts this year, there's so much more to do outside the walls of the castle.

This weekend has been slow, though we've quite enjoyed some down time in the flat, reading and getting some extra work finished up. We being my owl Hermes and my cat, Bucket. Though I'm not quite sure if he's really a feline, he acts very much like a dog, prowling around and if he could, I'm sure he'd bark. He's only about four months old, I think, and enjoys string quite a bit. I have to make sure that my clothes are free of any extra thread otherwise he'd pounce and ruin the starch of my robes. It's a quick easy fix, because I just remove the annoying drawstring from my hooded jumper and attach it to the handle of a wooden spoon or something. It will keep him entertained for hours while I complete the work I brought home. I found him in the flat one evening after a rainstorm, he looked wet and pathetic so I thought I'd bring him in and warm him up and perhaps give him something to eat. Now he won't leave, but he quite looks like he was dunked in a bucket of white paint, with his tail sticking out.
This is completely useless. Why would people care about my flat or my cat?
I have been having trouble sleeping the past few weeks. I go to sleep and wake up more tired than when I shut my eyes. I find myself sitting up and completing more work until I cannot keep my eyes open any further. It can't be healthy But then I sleep better.
